Intuition: The Soul's Eye
Intuition is Real Religion
Intuition is a powerful inner knowing that guides us. A person must learn to discern and to feel profoundly and directly with their innate clarity what's right and what's wrong—especially for their design–and whatever else they wish to know. For there is something profound going on and we can know it through intuition.
I wish it could be expressed better in written form. That's why I'm offering you a means to find out for yourself. I also know that people drawn to this blog are already quite intuitive.
When I say ‘religion’ here, I don’t mean dogma or doctrine—I’m talking about lived, direct connection with the Divine, the sense of what it feels like to be aligned with this Reality we call the Infinite.
There is something hidden within us that always knows the highest truth non-negotiably in any given circumstance–even during intense confrontation or calamity.
It's intuition—a kind of thoughtless thought. In some, it's fully manifest, but in many, it's obscured for various reasons. We are often even taught to doubt our higher perceptions and usually come to embrace them trought hardships, or by spontaneous awakenings that are too great, rich and convincing to be ignored.
"We are only humans," is a common phrase. We are also that.
Anyhow, these perceptions are there, while many people are not even aware of them.
You are a soul with an eye that sees clearly.
Remember the Law of Love?
If we all would let our lives be governed by this Law and intuition, things would work a whole lot better, for it's the highest faculty with the highest function—and highest outcome. Prayer, meditative practices and doing things slowly helps with this.
It is not discussed so much or considered a part of the mind in many philosophies, thus many people don't perhaps consider it enough. It's not considered as concrete and tangible as mind and intelligence–rather something far out nobody knows how to truly define. Almost nobody offers anything worthy concerning it, because you obviously can't grab it. Before you catch it, it might have already fled. But I'm giving you an intuitive definition and will elaborate on this etheral science the best way I can.
In time one can learn to use this faculty effortlessly until it becomes perfectly normal. Think of something that's normal for you to do now–this can become as normal as that.
Intuition is the souls eye and above intelligence (buddhi) in classification, something one can learn to tune in to and then know many things. Intuition is the super-buddhi.
The Feeling of Truth
There's a visceral feeling to truth. What does not feel intuitively right, in my opinion, is not spiritually aligned, even if it is considered to be by many.
Then the issue might be due to misinterpretation, or misunderstanding, not the original content, original meaning.
We should always follow the God-feeling, which is intuition. Here's the deal: human perspective is very limited. We can never fully grasp Life or it's intentions if we stay on the level of rational animals only, equipped with basic functions of a mortal mind and not higher intelligence like intuition.
There are no limits in Light.
There are some beliefs, and practices in some religions and schools of thought that do not feel intuitively all right, at least to me. That's because intuition is ahead of time, and structure follows time in linear fashion, offering us only a bulk average, usually quite far from the full potential.
But remember to follow your calling, and intuition is the means to find out what that is, for you. Find out about your svadharma.
We can always get the right message if we listen the right way, and intuition is the first 'aahaa' moment. It's subtle and emerges suddenly. Then it's important not to gaslight yourself and abide by your instincts–this way you can save the fruits of your realizations for yourself.
Spirituality is Listening to Life
To me, Spirituality is largely based on investigating the pure, undamaged existence-feeling that's first in order of classifications of reality and living in accord with the instructions of this Life-feeling, as revealed to me. We know that the grosser always depend on the finer in order of manifestation–so you truly depend on intuition–the Divine Sense.
Beyond the familiar 5-senses framework, there are actually 7 senses, out of which the mind is the sixth and intuition the seventh.
It means abiding by this inner feeling-script that I intuitively perceive to be a right course, not based on an opinion or bias, but truth. All this is of course combined with spiritual exercises which makes tuning in easy. These are called techniques–they help quieting down the mind–preparing you to receive intuitive understanding free from thought. This practice resembles effortless effort and intuition is like a jewel that falls on your palm for you to receive.
The spherical eyes see but the objective reality, but the single eye of the soul sees clearly.
If this seems abstract, it really isn't—it's just natural. If it sounds confusing, you are not confused at all—you might have been confused.
Real Religious Experience is Simple Presence
Real religious experience is contradictionless existence, beyond name and conceptualization.
It's the beauty you feel when you forget to think intensely for a while. It's your dreams coming true, stuff working out and also not working out.
It's the space between moments. It's the pure experiencing beneath the experience–this means all your experiences.
It's when you see the beam in your sibling's eye. It's the heartfelt connection with a stranger at a bus stop. It's when a beam of sunlight suddenly emerges from your window, making you full of God-joy—Anandamayi.
Or the bright moon that blinks between your curtains at night.
It's the spontaneous joy of being aligned with nature, feeling the cool breeze on your skin.
It's the flow feeling, once under the current on, makes any task seem easy. It's when you thrive without trying.
And much more.
Spiritual Activities are Grounded and Expansive
Spiritual activities are those that make you functional and enhance your relationship with Life, all while allowing you to transcend limitations and enter the real you—your unconceptual essence.
Your inner Self senses, and sees, and even seemingly engages on all levels. This transcendence is not death, but a multiway awakening–an inward experience spiritualizing both levels cosmic and mundane.
Your identitety in Christ (divine consciousness) is who you were always meant to be, before the world misled you while you couldn't help it. Pardon me if this has not been the case. But if it has been the case, it's not your fault.
The soul has a design, a first truth that lives beneath karma, beyond the distortions of incarnation.
It’s less about becoming someone new and more about uncovering who you truly are beneath the noise and shatter.
When you remain there in knowledge of who you are, you have learned a lot about religion even if you were never formally religious.
Interestingly, I didn't take any religious classes when I was in school. Instead, I attended these "life-knowledge" classes with a tiny group.
The Utter Simplicity of Excellent Living
This might sound funny, but there's ultimately nothing special about this. If you think there is, parts of you are going to be shooting very high and there is a risk of grandiosity and strain, risk of missing the point. That's all very simple—being present and doing well what you came here to do–and awakening. I encourage you to think this is easy and natural, while using common sense–and of course intuition itself.
It's ultimately wiser to live excellently, because a body needs a carrier-force, which is both divine intention and good karma-activity. By being open to growth and decisively and progressively moving towards a certain direction, the body is carried cheerfully throught an incarnation. But in the case of destructive neutrality which leads nowhere, the body could stagnate your consciousness and even create bad karma.
Try this, say: "I don't know, I'm not in control of everything." And just do your best.
Now that's spiritual!
And even if you ever make yourself look like a clown in front of others, you never truly become such in the eyes of the Loving Lord.
The Mind Can’t Grasp It All
When you're at peace, what flows still flows as it always has, but you are no longer fully identified with it. For all sense of contradiction and dysfunction exists only until it has been transcended. By using your awareness, and filtrating it into your dysfunction lovingly and curiously–it can be transcended. Just like your body knows how to heal a wound, your spirit embodies healing capabilities.
Note: If you are dealing with serious ailments and deep trauma, it's important to consult a skilled professional and avoid exploring intense and painful areas too much on your own. Content in this blog is valuable, but does not replace the need to take care of yourself first.
We're accustomed to defining everything we watch and do, but definitions are like fleeting sand between the fingertips. Interestingly, it's also a skill to hold this sand on your palms. This means knowing yourself by definition without attachment.
Beyond Stereotypes
There are many stereotypes out there and these influence people who are yet not so discerning. People might not understand which ideas come from outside of them and what their spirit is actually whispering through intuition. Awakening to our true nature (which is, by the way, fairly easy to actualize) is associated with churches, organizations and hierarchy. That's why many people are averse to it.
However, I do recognize the need—or sometimes even the urgency—to enter the formless through the form. That serves as preparation and is often necessary, so there's no judgment here. By 'form,' I mean formal practices that serve as divine preparation.
It's profound to know that everybody is ultimately living a spiritual experience, even without calling it so, even without form. I myself am spiritual, like you are too. I'm just using this word religion to shed some light on it—I've never been formally religious. I've always known that there's one God and that we are part of It–and that there is a lot we don't know, nor do we even need to "explain". There's lot more to receive, however.
I've also been forgetful about this temporarily when younger due to conditioning and bad company–and just life happening. Many people have a sense of freedom and their inner essence when they're little but become influenced by misleading thoughts when they mature—but this doesn't remove the facts.
Whether you believe or not, whatever you ought to do, this is something nobody can change.
Cut Yourself Some Slack
I think I've taken things too seriously at times. Have you ever been guilty of this? Sometimes Life calls you to eat a cake and that can be super empowering. Or to watch an inspiring film. Or to eat candy. Or to do something silly. Remember, we are still in the realm of religion here. It's everything. This form of religion calls for playfulness, experimentation, and spontaneous growth. But of course, don't play more than you work.
I often remember happy moments from childhood, me playing–when mere existing was ecstatic. A great deal of any serious inner work consists of consciously returning to this ecstacy of existing, progressively and gently.
Funnily, an adult body hasn't stopped me from playing, although I almost lost playfulness at one point due to my intense brain-splitting practices and some restricting beliefs.
I now honestly believe in the art of allowing and embracing things as they are. I believe there's something changeless that doesn't need to be changed, and the key lies in understanding that. God threw a bone–go pick it!
Svadharma–Follow the Intuitive Cues To Fulfill Your Soul Destiny
We are led to transformative experiences through following what I call intuitive cues—kinds of magical trailheads.
There are countless possibilities available to us, we just have to notice them. The key to the right use of free will lies in choosing wisely from these possibilities that are all available in the same present, like you would grab a book from the shelf.
This one is constituted of energy and colors.
Spiritual growth doesn't usually happen through formal spiritual practices only—it actually usually happens through action—since part of Lord's drama is about growth through experiences. For some reason, it seems to be this way for the most individuals.
There's something we are playing out, and we can release it through action and be done with it, or continue as long as it flows. And this action can be our bhakti—devotion. Then there will technically be nothing holding us back anymore, since we've transformed our lives into spiritual practice. This is spiritual inclusivity and integrated enlightenment.
There's also nothing wrong with this: it's svadharma, your individual dharma—a code written in your soul that needs to be cracked open your way, with your special touch. This is why not everybody immediately finds a guru who can guide them—personal dharma is complex and important, deserving great delicacy in handling. And not everybody even needs to find one in human form–the Guru is within.
Our souls know our destinies, for they have chosen to come here and go through these experiences–with a pinch of unpredictability. We've all made a deal and are really brave. The unfoldment of this soul-dharma happens through the unfoldment of intuitive cues and following them—eventually progressing and experiencing a FLIP in consciousness—then all this becomes perfectly normal.
Then growth multiplies and you learn to amplify the process, just like in the mathematical tetration—a self-multiplying system.
These cues feel very good and compelling but also a bit frightening at first. The Lord is teaching us to be patient with our fears, for the final test will be far greater than temporary frights followed by attempting to be a superhero. Those frights will be temporary but the fruit permanent once you engage your Soul Path. You've been given a mountain to climb.
Our authentic selves are like this too; flower-like, and nectarine, evoked only in right conditions—fragile but all-pervading. This is the magic.
Engaging Your Authentic Self and Amplifying Spiritual Growth
By being authentic—in other words, knowing who one is at all levels—a person not only strengthens the community but also enhances their own well-being and impact. As individualized expressions of Life, each of us possesses unique traits and abilities to contribute. We function best when we are attuned to our true expression and svadharma, unapologetically.
Often, people who emphasize their spirituality, as if overly conscious of it, demonize the "ego," which is, after all, a necessity for Life to function.
The higher aspect of ego is the faculty which enables the Sacred Union of the unknown and known–unification of opposites trought a game of merging together. Ironically, attempts to run away from this Divine Identity are often driven by the 'lower' identity—the 'mortal ego' itself! If people would simply relax and embrace themselves, this world would be much less chaotic place.
I see great wonders in everything. Life is a living thing–it seeks to be met in it's entirety. This is a pressureless initiation to inclusivity, one of the pillars of the FLIP-protocol.
Additionally, without ego-strenght we risk being run over by others in this competitive world.
Thus, pair non-competitiveness as discussed previously, with Divine Assertiveness.
The bigger picture is created through the cohesive actions of these distinct, self-aware individuals—like riders on the same wave. When each person truly knows themselves, they can align their contributions with their authentic purpose, amplifying their influence within the community and impact in the world.
This is not egoic at all–it's Divine. The deeper one delves, the more refined one becomes and starts to recognize their Divine Multiplicity.
Embody your authentic self, for in the blossoming light of perfect acceptance the fullness of who you are can harmonize. Through this comes real freedom on all levels.
Lastly, even as Jesus said:
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Welcome home, it's never too late to be born—for in the stillness of quiet knowing—you are already home.
